Directions to the winery

Galen Glen Winery is nestled between the Blue and Mahoning Mountains near Andreas. From our Tasting Room, enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the vineyard and rural Pennsylvania countryside.

No appointment is necessary for Wine Tasting, unless you are a group with ten or more guests. Wine Tasting for groups of ten guests or more is by appointment only. If there is no reservation for a group of ten guests or more, please be aware that admittance to the Winery may be refused at the discretion of the Tasting Staff. We strongly suggest making reservations.

From 443 and 309
Travel East on 443 about 4.5 miles to JEM Car Museum.
Turn right onto Cold Spring Road and continue for 2 miles.
Turn right onto Winter Mountain Drive.
The winery is 1 mile on the right at the top of a hill.

From 895 and 309
Travel East on 895 for 4 miles to town of Andreas.
Turn left onto Andreas Rd.
After 0.25 miles, road divides in 3 directions,
take HARD left onto Winter Mountain Drive.
Winery is 1 mile on left at top of hill.

From Historic downtown Jim Thorpe
Travel 6.7 miles West on Broadway (past Mauch Chunk Lake, road name changes to Lentz Trail)
Turn left onto 902 and proceed 4 miles (go through first blinking light)
At traffic light (intersection of 902 and 443) cross over 443 onto Fritz Valley Rd
Stay on Fritz Valley Rd for 2.2 miles (do not bear left to Andreas). It is the road with double yellow line and will transition into Pine Hill Rd in Schuylkill Co.
Turn Left onto Winter Mountain Dr. Winery is 0.8miles on right.
